The Super Bowl is one of Corey's favorite days. For the last 5 years we have hosted a party at our place. This year was a little smaller with Corey, Lily and myself, along with my mom, my sister Erika, My brother in law Jacob, and their daughter Emily, also our friends Eric and Laura and their little one Alee. It was fun but we were all bummed that the Cardinals lost. Another football season is over and now baseball is just around the corner. Corey can't wait.

More Pictures
I have been trying to get a picture of Lily smiling. I got a few good ones. She loves to smile at the animals that hang from her bouncey seat. Every time she moves they bounce and she gets a huge smile it is great. I am working on figuring out how to put our video camera onto the computer so watch for videos soon. Or so I hope.

Trouble eating
For the passed week Lily has had some trouble eating. She had been eating every 2 hours 10 minutes on each side. Then after Rick and Lynette left I wanted to get her on a schedule and I wanted to strech her feedings out to 2 1/2 hours. The first week she did great. Then about last wednesday she would only eat for about 2-5 minutes on 1 side and then be done. If I tried to feed her more she would start screaming at the top of her lungs. This lasted until friday and then I decided to move her feeding back done to every 2 hours because maybe she was getting to hungry. Over the weekend this worked great. She went back to eating about 8-10 minutes on each side. Then Monday she had a few feedings that were only about 5 minutes on 1 side. Then yesterday the morning started out good and then around 11:00 she only eat for about 2 minutes and that continued on the rest of the day. She also wasn't sleeping well and was very upset. It was the hardest day we have had. Especially because Corey had a basketball game and didn't get home until after 7. I feed her her 2 minutes of food around 9:30 and then we put her to bed. It took her about 1 1/2 to go to sleep and then she woke up at 1:30am instead of her usual 3:00am. She feed like she was starving for 10 minutes on 1 side but would not eat on the other. She then woke up again at 5:00am and eat for 10 minutes on the other side. All morning she has eaten for about 10 minutes on 1 side. Maybe she doesn't need to eat on both sides. i just worry about my milk supply if she doesn't. The doctor said I should be feeding her every 2-3hours 10 minutes on both sides. But what if I can't do that? She is still pooping and peeing so I know she is getting food. Any wisdom or suggestions from you mothers out there?

Lily's Schedule
This last week has been my first week home with Lily by myself. Since she was held and rocked so much her first month with family visiting and the joy of having a new one that you just want to snuggle with. I have been working on getting her on a schedule this week. The have stretched out her feedings from every 2 hours to every 2 1/2 hour except at night when she goes 4-5 hours. We have now started a schedule with 8 feedings during the day. After each feed except at night she has awake time and then takes a 1- 1 1/2 hour nap. she is doing really well with this except during her 7:00 and 10:00 pm feedings she doesn't want to sleep. It has only been a couple of days and so we will keep working on it. In a couple of weeks she will be able to drop her 3:00am feeding and sleep straight from 10:00pm to 6:30 am or so mommy hopes.

Meeting Grandma and Grandpa Still
On New Years day Corey's parents arrived from North Dakota to meet Lily for the first time. It has been great having them here and letting them get to know their new grand daughter. With all of the snow and having a new born I have been feeling some what cooped up in the house so we have made a few outings this last week. We went to lunch at Chili's in Spokane with grandma and grandpa Still and grandma B. We than walked around the mall. We have made several outings to Walmart once it opened back up after being closed for a week because of the snow on the roof. We took lunch to daddy on Tuesday and Lily got to meet his classes and fellow teachers. Then while Corey's parents stayed to watch him teach a class I took Lily over to my school. My first graders were so funny. They wanted to know if I was coming back the next day. They wanted to touch Lily's head. So I let them wash their hands and touch her head. They all had to tell me what they got for Christmas and that the elves sent letters back to us after they wrote Santa letters. On Friday January 9th we had Lily dedicated at our church during the evening service. It was a very special time and we were so happy to family there to celebrate it with us. Corey's parents left this morning and Lily will miss them and we look forward to seeing everyone in North Dakota during spring break.
